The Challenge of Realizing Challenge-Based Learning:
Linking Research and Practice

On 15 June 2023 the first National Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) Conference will take place in Eindhoven. The committee is formed by members of the Eindhoven University of Technology and 4TU.CEE. The conference aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice of CBL, exchanging experiences and research findings on CBL themes including, but not limited to interdisciplinarity in CBL education, collaborating with stakeholders, assessment, and learning gains. This exchange is now more important than ever, with much emerging research and practice efforts on CBL in need of wider dissemination and exchange.

Participation and invitation

The conference welcomes participants from research universities and universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands; researchers, educators, teaching support staff, and other interested professionals to share experiences, practices, expertise, and ideas related to CBL. The invitation to submit proposals will soon be communicated. Though, if you intend to contribute or participate in any way to this conference, do not hesitate to contact us.
